Euryops (Bush Daisy)
Euryops is so easily to grow that it is often taken for granted in warm winter climates. It is amazingly tolerant of both drought and moisture and does fine in light shade to blazing sun. It will take cold down into the mid 20′s F, but will freeze in lower temperatures. Since it displays its cheerful yellow daisies for such a long season, sometimes we stop seeing them. But the plant is very well mannered, keeping a neatly pruned look even when reaching 4′ shrub size. It isn’t much inclined to sprawl, show holes or look tattered. Even when the blooms fade it keeps its clean deep green foliage looking well groomed.
It is easy to work the Euryops (also knows as the Bush Daisy) into garden designs. Because Euryops isn’t much of a conversation piece by itself, it is ideal for an easy care background with any of the more unusual show-stopping focal points. Such focal points can be sculptures, interesting furniture, fountains or other constructs as well as eye-catching plants. Group Euryops for a background or parade it along a boundary as hedge. It won’t demand the pruning other hedges will. Fill in gaps in plantings where the illusion of lush green or grey-green complemented with yellow can liven up the spot. There are a number of Euryops varieties. The two most common are Eyryops pectinatus with slightly grayed leaf color, and the variety ‘Virdis’ with a clear deep green foliage. The variety ‘Munchkin’ is smaller, growing to about 2′ tall as does Euryops acraeus. The latter two plants are less frequently seen and harder to find. Add Euryops (Bush Daisy) to a daisy garden design with Felicia and pink or white Argenanthemum, or Shasta Daisy to create a romantic or storybook garden. There are lots of uses for this user-friendly plant.

I would like to order the euryops plant which flowers beautifully all summer here in brooklyn, n.y. , but cannot find a mail order or online source. can you help me?
One of my favorite mail order places is Anniesannuals.com and they carry the Euryops speciosissimus. The Euryops pecitnatus is found everywhere here in Southern California — even the home supply stores. Tytyga.com and Thimblefarms.com are two who carry it online but I never tried mail-ordering from either of them. Try searching on Google if none of these work for you.
